mg/L, ppm, and mg/L as CaCO₃ — the same number
mg/L as CaCO₃ and ppm hardness are the same measurement written two ways: when a lab reports hardness “as calcium carbonate,” the mg/L figure already is mg/L CaCO₃, and ppm equals mg/L in water. There is nothing to multiply — 150 mg/L is 150 mg/L as CaCO₃ is 150 ppm.
