Effective 2026-07-22. This policy describes the site as it operates today and is updated when that changes.

What we collect

Today, nothing personal. Hard Water Map currently sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics; if any of these are enabled, this policy and a consent notice will be updated first. There are no accounts and no web forms — corrections are sent by email, which you control. When the site is deployed, our host (Vercel) keeps standard server request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and reliability; we do not combine these with any other data or use them to identify you.

Your rights

Under the EU GDPR you may request access to, rectification of, erasure of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of any personal data an operator holds about you; under the California CCPA/CPRA you may request to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. Because we hold no personal data about site visitors today, there is nothing to retrieve or delete — but the right stands, and email below reaches us.
